lol its funny, everyone say's that my truck sounds like a 747 just sitting there waiting to take off. Then when i get on it it sounds like a big block V8 with header pipes

i have 4 inch downpipe all the way back. Sounds sooooooo good.

Does anybody know where I can get an 03 turbo assembly. I need the loud whistle. Thanks.

I don't know. Is it the same as on an 04? I have an 04, and the turbo was just replaced in March 06 under warranty.

no im pretty sure that you have to re configure the setup to allow the 03 turbo to mount correctly. correct me if im wrong

bro if you use your truck as a daily driver i would stay away from the 03.. as much as it sounds nicer, it has quite a bit more lag... a noticeable amount and too much to be worth the trade off in my opinion. at best you will see about 15-20 hp more with the bigger turbo.

and yes, the 03 turbo will need the 03 pedestal.

Trust me the sound isn't worth the lag, I have the 03 and while the whistle is nice, the lag is considerable. Get a tuner! With certain tunes I notised that the turbo spooles up alot quicker and the turbo dose seem louder!
It might just be my emagination though.
