I need to. Have not done so yet. Truck seems ok right now, dont really want to drain the 2 gal's of antifreeze i just put in it because i dont have an easy way to get it back into the system after i dump it. wasn't going to drive till i replaced the t-stat but a friend told me he's give me a truck box today - yea - he lied again. guess i wont be considering him a friend anymore

By "ready mix", do you mean the pre-mixed 50% stuff? Sounds like you might have a 25:75 coolant:water mix now. If you wanted a 50:50 mix you should have added 2 gal 100% coolant instead of the ready mix. I think your coolant capacity is 17qts, for simplicity lets call it 16qts. 16qts=4gal.

After you flushed the engine w/ clear water and drained w/o removing engine drain plugs, you had 2gal of clear water left in the engine. Add 2gal of 100% and you'd get a 50:50.
