Good grief and the saga continues. The man that I said sold the 96 F350 out from under me called me today and said the buyer backed out. He was nice yeasterday and nice today so he has not been a jerk about the whole thing. Here are the details of the truck:
96 F350 dually automatic crew cab XL with 181,000 miles.
problems:
-driver's side rear dually fender damage/crack, I can raplace for $230
-owner thinks glow plugs need replaced, starts great in warm weather and a little hard in cold weather
-owner hasn't replaced brakes in year and half of owning the truck so probably need to replace them and maybe rotors
-driver' side front seat has rip in it but owner has new seat covers he will give me and rip doesn't really look that bad to me
positives:
-less than 1000 miles on 6 new tires
-rebuilt transmission with HD tranny cooler all paperwork to verify
-towing package, but no gooseneck which I will get
-AC/heat work good
-Current owner only used it to tow 3000 pd. boat few times
Owner said he will take $6500 and was asking $7600, what do you think fellas?
Go on Autotrader and type in the zip code 74053 in the search area. This is around Claremore Ok. There are about a half dozen trucks listed within 100 miles of this area.

Y'all might curse me but I might buy a 95 Dodge 3500 Cummins. I've been talking with the guy all day and it is what I'm looking for. If I shouldn't [please someone talk me out of it!
Brother, buy what makes you happy. Buy the truck you drive slowly in front of store windows just so you can see yourself in it. Buy the truck you park way out far, just so you can look at it longer when you walk out. Buy the truck you can't wait to drive everyday even if you have nowhere to go.
Trust me brother, I'm still looking for "the one". I posted a thread on here about it, and guys gave me leads from south Texas to Alaska. I called on 90% of them and all of them had one thing or another that made it NOT the one. I've been looking for a year. I drive a single cab, and have 3 yr old triplets. So yeah, I'm in need of my ONE truck. Stay patient, it will come.

Triplets! I have a 3 yr. old and 1 yr old. I can't imagine three 3 yr. olds. I bet they are blessing though.
