O.K. I've only been on here a few days and maybe that is why I haven't found a truck yet.
In the last week I have traveled to buy a 97 F350 dually that was not as described so I didn't buy.
Then I found a 96 F350 dually closer to my house and thought I had it bought and the guy calls me back and sold it out from under me!
This is just the latest in 5 months of looking for a 95-97 F350 dually diesel with no results. My budget is $7500 max so maybe that is my problem?
I will pull a car trailer with it sometimes that will max out at 7000 pds. and a cattle trailer that could go as high as 13-14000 pds. So I would rather have a F350 dually to be safe than a F250, right?
Maybe I'll find one one day.
That's the way it goes. I have been looking for my dream truck for two years now. Maybe once every 3 months one comes up for sale, but for some reason I don't get it. Yes, it does get really frustrating. Just remember not to buy anything that you don't really want or that is overpriced. If you want a 1 ton dually, don't settle for a 3/4 because you will never really be happy.
It sounds REALLY cliche, but I really do believe in the "if its meant to be" principle! The right truck WILL come along and make it all worth the wait!
Thanks but I literally look at Craigslist, ebay, autotrader and a few others about 30 times a day.
The 94 you posted I have already went and looked at. It was junk! The guy (kid) selling it was 18 and had had it 3 months. He was clueless and the truck had more defects than Paris Hilton.
I'm specifically looking for a 95-97 F350 Dually PSD. Automatic or manual doesn't matter and crew cab. We have a 3 yr. old and 1 yr. old so sometimes there will be car seats.
where are you and how far will you be willing to go
I'm willing to go far if it's the right truck for the right price. I went to Minnesota last week for a 97 F350 PSD dually and it was not as described. It was on Craigslist and that sucked big time!
I feel your pain ! it took me about 8 months to find mine. made a 700 mile round trip to see a real junker that looked great in the pics. I left that one behind. just take your time & the right one will turn up. Now that I have mine I almost miss the searching (i still check ebay every now & again )
