Or, you can do what I did. Leave the stock ones there, and install these along with them. eBay Item number: 120130018768. I put these in a palce that's easy to get to so they will be real easy to replace if they ever fail.
So how would you install them and set them up to work without removing the old ones.
Wire them with the existing actuator, mount them on the door, and tie the rods together. Its not hard. You could always got to any local car audio/alarm place and have them do it.
i studying on the tin foil fix for a while, but after taking the door panel off and seeing where the actuator was at, I decided on plan b. I didnt want to risk breaking it by just trying to get it out.
Just take your time, and don't start throwing things when it gets smaller than you can see.... ;-)))

Danged,, I thought that is when you checked to see if it would pass the FLING test. :-)
I usually repair the resistor by either using a $.01 copper piece the exact size or soldering a 18 gauge copper wire around one end. Both methods work and wont be subject to wear from vibration. Jim
