Hi Guys,Will a 390 Flex plate work on a 352?Are the FE motor balanced inside the motor? The 352 is a 66 model and i have a flex plate for a 75 390.I just want to make sure before I do it.Thanks Tony
Only a couple of FE engine are externally balanced, the 428 mainly. The 390 and down are all internal balanced so the flywheels will swap with no problems.
While you have it laying around, think about magnafluxing it. I had a used one come apart as I was passing a truck on the freeway...tore the center out.And a tranny shop friend said it's not that rare, they get old and stressed.

Had the same thing happen to my 1969 428CJ backed with a C-6. Of course I was drag racing it twice a week and street driving it on top of that.
