Trailer Tow package

I have a 1995 F250 4x4. 460 w/ zf5 4.10 gear.

Anyway, it has under the dash a plug for the trailer brakes. It does not have the relays next to the main fuse box under the hood like my 94 had. I cannot get to the plug on the back end because of the flatbed and the way it bolts on there.

I assume that there was a light duty and a heavy duty trailer package, and that I have the light duty one. What's the difference? What functions do I have in back? I assume at least RT, LT, Tail, Ground, and Brake. Does the HD package just add the reverse and batt?

Can anyone tell me what plugs I need to connect to that?

I would say you have the NO trailer package.
Inside the cab is the same if you have or do not have the trailer package and you will have the brake controller plug under the ashtray.

The plug is all wired and ready to plug into the plug from a brake controller.
The problem is the Blue wire (Brake) from the brake controller ends at the dashboard.

To convert it to the trailer package wiring you will need the harness that goes from the dash to the back of the truck and the relay box and its wiring.

My 95 did not have the trailer package when I got it so I went to a salvage yard and took the wiring harness and relay box off another 95 and put it on mine.

Here is a wiring diagram of the trailer package wiring:

Where are the C205 and c149 plugs at?

Where did you go to get yours? I'm fed up with al's 4x4 here locally. Maybe I need to try something out your way.

C205 is a Firewall plug and C149 in on the driver's fender below the Master Cylinder.

I got my harness at Roberts down on K16 just east of Oskaloosa.

C205, pin#2 is the trailer brake wire:

You must mean Robbins. He's pretty well out of newer trucks. I don't know why he hasn't been buying them, but it's irritating. I may try General Leasing just north of Oskie.

Thanks!

It's still there. I got the instrument cluster off it, but it had a broken display. It's pretty well picked through by now.
