Recon Accessories

Ok so I bought a new white 2008 F250 4x4 CC Diesel Lariat and I love it. About a month back I limo tinted all the windows, and did the exhaust. The truck looks sweet with the stock 20's. Next I am replacing the rear third brake light, and also the mirror lenses by Recon. My question is, would you go with the smoked lense or clear? I was thinkin clear because the truck is white. If I get the smoked I think it might look funny with the stock tails red. Thanks for the help.

I'd go with the clear. That would look so sweet on a white truck. You really can't loose either way. congrats on the new truck.

It really depends on how much black surrounds it. On the mirrors, if they aren't painted to match, I would use smoke. I would probably go smoke anyway just because clear looks too ricer for my taste.

Speaking of light.......I ordered mine 3 weeks ago from RECON directly and they said it was in stock. They told me they shipped it to the wrong location, and it will be another 7 buisness days. I dont know why they didnt call to tell me this, instead they waited for me to call. Last time I do buisness with them direct.

I've found that buying things direct usually is more of a hassle than buying from a smaller middle man type company. You'd think the manufacturer would be able to do a better job, but no!
