lifting help

when putting a lift kit on my 90 4x4, i let the jack down the very outside edge of my brand new tires is the only part that hits the ground. what did I do wrong?

What kind of lift, how much lift, etc. etc.? So you're letting the jack out fully and it's sitting with the top of the tires pointed out?

OUCH, thats gotta hurt!!!!!!!! sounds like you may need a camber kit at least, get to a good allignment shop pronto. I don't know your exact problem, but I di know it's common for lifted rangers to need a camber kit for proper allignment. You may have some other issues as well.

I think Zach and Wendell are right, but just for kicks, make sure nothing is binding up in the suspension, so it's not setting all the way down on the spring like it shoud...

its a 4" rough country lift, nothing is hitting and everything looks normal...
