Pretty easy actually, except I broke my stock A Pillar getting in a hurry. No biggy though, gauge pod covers it up, check out my gallery. Most sites that sell them have really good install instructions.

Thanks Tenn - would pillar install be easier than overhead as far as running wires and cables?

Oh yeah, not only that, they're easier to see. Wait until you start really stoking the rig. It's all you can do to see what's darn near right in front of you when you really hammer it. Of course you can always take your eyes off of the road, we all know what can happen then.

I did mine in two evenings after work. I did all the sensor installs first, pre-fit the gauges & pod on the pillar, and ran the sensor wires (and boost sensor tube). The second night I wired power & lighting to the gauges, tidied up all the wiring, and did the final on pillar. I'm thinking I did it in like 3 1/2 or 4 hours total, taking my time and BS'ing with some other folks in the shop...

Overhead is just as easy to see as the A pillar... Your not taking your eyes off the road...

I second the easiness of the install. I got mine from ITP, bought the DYI kit. It's all really simple. ITP's kit is very complete and great instructions too. The hardest part is drilling the pyro and tapping. That's not even that difficult, just makes you nerves. Be organized and take your time. Soldering iron, heat shrink, and zip ties a must.

This is probably true. Let me re-phrase: I'm more comfortable with the pillar setup. I put the boost and pyro closest to my face.
