Possibly.....I would recommend you shore up the clutch hydraulics first as I believe that is the most likely cause.
2C3Z-7C522-CA was the part number for the complete hydraulic system last time I bought it (01/17/04). Listed for 131.10
I finally got around to changing this today..Man!!! what a difference!!! That was my problem. I would definetly recommend getting the master cylinder rod and plastic clip at the same time. My plastic clip broke upon removal and the metal push rod is a pita to get out of the old one. OBTW the switch assy slides towards the rear of the truck to remove. (the white piece).

Well that's very good news. I was going to jump in here and say that your transmission was bad due to the shifting difficulty only happening with 3rd and 4th.
Changing the hydraulics was my last resort before I bought a new tranny clutch etc etc...This place rocks!!!!The price we pay to be a supporter is nothing compared what I would have spent so far on this truck.
i fixed my problem it was none of the above the fork was the upgraded and as i said the hydraulic system was replaced, the pressure plate let go i have a southbend 550HP clutch in it now shifts better than new
