Yeah I have been kind of following Elmo's progress as well. Cool thing is he doesn't have anything really trick in his truck. In fact, I thought I read that he still has stock head gaskets.

Oh no, the internals aren't stock. He's got a huge shopping list from DI. I think he's also still running an ATS tranny.

WTH where did my post go? Oh anyway, i think that whatever DI has to offer, he has on his truck. In the 12.11 run he was using the large single GT45R that was on Snow White, with lots of N2O to help it spool. I saw a hilarious picture of a fold-down handtruck beside Danny's truck, stacked FULL of NOS bottle. It gave me a laugh.

David Lott is the owner, and also is the owner of Snow White, the fastest 7.3L PSD out there right now. Well, maybe not right now, they are building a new engine since the other one blew up late last season . Once it's done they should be in the 10's at least with that thing.

I know I turn a consistent 7.3-7.4 in the 1/8 (with a substantial amount of nitrous) and my truck needs tuning...
I'll be at Hines in the morning, on the rollers, to see what kind of numbers I'm throwing down (just motor). I want a heads-up before BTS' dyno day. If I don't meet MY needs (with a 7.3) then pull me from contention 'cause a 12v Cummins will be next.

As for THE fastest 7.3 crew cab? Elmore, hands down. No one close. Although I've been out of the country for over three years, there might be someone lurking in the dark...I haven't heard of 'em!
you mean 8.3-8.4 in the 1/8? thats even fast for a dually since my 12.5 run had a 8.0 1/8th. Danny's the fastest cc and i believe im the second fastest. If i added another stage of nitrous he would have his work cut out for him

Luke, yes 8.3-8.4 in the 1/8th, sorry for the typo. That's with 200 of the line and another 100 shot at 2700 rpm. An 8.0 1/8th... this means I'm hot on your heels!
But Saturday morning we hurt the motor on the dyno, made 588 on #2 only before a lifter started to go ticky, couldn't make it to BTS' deal in Rogersville.
We'll get it together but this truck needs TUNING!
