I know we like to talk about whuppins but it was kind of cool to just get that little "nod" of approval from a couple of fellers in a Dodge today. At a stoplight, on the highway, I pulled up and saw him, lifted, oversized exhaust, gauges . . . yeah, he's gonna take one look at me and it's on, I think.
I have no idea what he did or didnt have in there, just saw out of state plates and the indicators of something lurking under the hood. So, sure enough
Light goes green, dang I'm still in 80 econo oh well punch it we both blot out the sun and the poor sobs behind us we keep it for a couple of seconds but now we're both approaching 80 in a 45 neck in neck and another stoplight coming up, at which point we stopped again, he rolled down the passenger window, they both gave me a thumbs up and a big smile, and we went our separate ways.
It was kinda neat.

Good theory Lisa. I'm not much of a dodge or chevy guy, but i do like both of the engines under the hood and i can't hate them for that. As a side note, a few weeks ago i raced a guy that i met in the parking lot at the carnival, a bunch of whiggers from in the "city" in a supercab shortbed f-250. Looked stock, no guages, he said he had a banks IC and a superchips. First race in 2wd he beat me because i roasted tires through 3rd, but we lined up again this time in 4wd, and i "whupped" (LOL) his ***. Next day i heard from a friend on the sidelines at the finish, one of the guys that was with him said said he was stacking chips and running 150shot of n2o.. and i still beat him by 4-5 trucks.

I ran across one of those D***heads on the interstate the other day, cutting people off and driving dangerously. I kept purposely "getting in his way" and when he tried to pass me I romped it, passing him up, keeping him from passing me or anyone else. I toyed with him a little more until finally we reached open highway and I pulled aside ( I dont NEED anymore tickets) and he was doing like 100 MPH he was so pissed.
My truck has a basic 330 HP chip, 4" turbo back...but nothing real special and there are many SDs out there who can pass me like I am standing still...but I blew the doors of that Hemi.

LOL Lisa , keep it up, i know this guy geve me the look on the stop light, and i didnt spool up my truck, and he was gone by the time it shifted to 3rd, i was keeping my foot out of the pedal between the shifts, i still have to drive it 1350 miles to Brians shop for the trans upgrade, LOL ,

Sometimes i find it just as fun to embarass them by smirking, laughing and looking down at their door badge, laughing again and not racing them. I tend to do that with the ricers.

I like the fart can honda racers, we were at a light once and my buddy hangs out my window and asks the honda boy if he wanted to race. He goes i can beat that thing, i laughed, 4wd launch and i was gone before his little go kart tires could hook. Then he was embarrased and left the road haha. Then i go around a turn around and stop, another honda this guy has a BIG BIG 5" tach...he musta be fast. I nod, he nods back, and same thing, except after the race, the japanese guy gave me a thumbs up.
