I'd say 285 at the rear is optimistic, probably more like 250-260, but like you said...as long as you are happy it's all good.

But wait, there's MORE!
Too funny. Same highway today, different light, identical looking truck almost . . . for a sec I thought it was the same dudes. Another silver Dodge. Nope. Gasser. This guy sits at the light looking at me revving his muffler thingy - I dont know what they call it but it sounds like an engine burping to me
Oh man. This dude spent a lot of money to sound fast. He's just pretty mad about the whole experience now. Maybe his foot just slipped . . . but he was suckin soot pretty quick.
I swear ma! He started it! I dont actually look for these opportunities!

We call them fart cans...I guess us Colorado kids get bored and actually knows what it sounds like when you try and trap a fart in a coffee can.

Yeah......I was a Colorado kid many moons ago....we tried a few things.

Of course, this was way back when you could cruise west Colfax avenue at night without getting stabbed or shot at.

Today on the way home from work I had an older Dodge Cummins in front of me and I can see this guy looking at me in the rear view mirror. Every time we would make eye contact he would just do this little speed up deal and this really cute little puff of black smoke would pop out of his stock exhaust tip. We get into town where the road splits to two lanes and we get to the first stop light and I pull up beside him and he makes this big production of craning his neck around to look up at me and he has this little smirk on his face. The light goes green and I begin to pull away and this guy romps it and I look and he's looking at me again and his truck is kind of hopping a little so I just let him get up there a little ways and then I mash the throttle (I had already reached down discreetly and flipped the tuner into position five) and the biggest black cloud I have ever laid just pours out and I catch and roll by this guy and up to the next light. The smoke was so thick I could barely see his face through his windshield. He pulls up next to me and promptly turns right except this time he isn't looking over at me or anything.

I drove the rest of the way to the house with a nice grin and I did a couple more black outs just for fun. The smoke roll next to the Dodge was a beautiful sight. I wish I could have gotten video.

I bet that guy is home washing the coal off of his pretty white truck right now.

Yeah side exhaust. I filled a VW Jetta today, (I was bored on the way to the hardware store and didn't like her attitude or driving). I could easily have ran away from her but I kept letting off just so she could get there then jumped on it to fill it again until she went to the far right lane. Childish, yes, lots of fun, OH YEAH.

Thanks, Izzy.

Now that I know how to work the camera I am going to try a couple of things and make a couple more videos.

Yeah, it's good to be in Texas. Y'all getting any rain up there right now? Looks and feels like it is getting ready to tear loose here any second.
