M/T Baja MTX?
I posted this in the off-road and 4x4 forum, but after a while I decided that it probably should be posted here, so here is a reposting:
just wondering if anybody here has any experience with Mickey Thompsons Baja MTXs. They look to be a nice tire if you see a lot of highway and dirt miles. They seem to have larger voids than a BFG AT for example. Do they clean out reasonably in mud? I am not asking how they would do mud bogging, thats not what they are for but every once in a while you find a little mud and you dont want your tires to be useless.
looking for a set of tires, 35x12.5 15s, and at 150 a piece, these dont look to bad, since I see a good amount of road miles as well as dirt and such. Its to dry in ND usually to make any really deep mud to warrant the purchase of swampers

I had a set of baja belteds and they were very rough riding on the road. I'd check to see how much air they hold, if they max out under 30 psi, I'd look into something else. I am after a set of Toyo Open country MTs.
