...and I wanted to check out that heater core bypass mod. Turns out my '02 CC does *NOT* have the vacuum valve in the heater hoses at all. I **swore** I looked at it a while back, but I must've been hallucinating.
What is the Ranger part (I seem to remember someone saying AutoZoo has it) you all use and where do you tap into vacuum to actuate it?? I've got two weeks before I get back to North Texas, and I want my AC as icy as it can be...
Hey IZZY, do you get love bugs up your way?
What do you run for EGT @65-70mph in summer?
Just wondered
Man, I just did two trips down to Ft. Myers, and I picked up a CR@P LOAD of the "F" bugs on the way. But as of Memorial Day, they seemed to clear up a little north of Tampa. I haven't had my gauges in long, so I think I'm seeing around 650 at those speeds lately. Sound about right??
Thanks Ron!! For some reason, I was thinking that thing was a lot more expensive, so I was planning on going with the Ranger part and rig up my own connection. But for $43, I'm ordering it now...
glad to help..it should come with directions on what to tap into..it said only shuts off on max setting..Bob just took 500 bucks from me last night..so the machine is still working..
