15w40, 10w30, 10w40, 5w40?

I'm going to be changing my oil soon and would like some opinions on oil weights. I know Ford calls for the 15W40, but can also use 10W30. I've heard a lot about people running 5W40 though. Opinions?

Todd

I run Rotella Synthetic which is 5w40. Makes for much easier starts in the winter. I do run it year round and my truck likes it.

Rotella makes an SAE30, and there are definitely others, but by far the most popular are the two you mentioned...
