c4 to c6

Hey guys, i got a 1979 f150 4x4 with a 351 and a c4. I was wanting to know if i could swap a c6 in without any modifications?

never saw a c4 in a full size 4x4. it should have a c6 unless someone swaped out a c4 from a EB but then your 351 would have to be a windser. so if your 351 is and M its mated to a c6

There was never a C4 in a 73-79 Fseries 4x4

IF you look at the transmission pan and it looks like a little square it's a C4, but if it looks like a big square with a little L shape on one end it's a C6.
