Upgraded chip,questions
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 21-Nov-02 AT 07:53 PM (EST)]Hi Ken,
I received my Diablo Delta chip back today from you.I had a 93 program with the open loop upgrade added to the unburned space and had the original program left alone.
I told a very helpful representative that I would post my ???? here and that would enable you to respond at your convenience.
Originally the chip info provided stated that where the notch on the toggle was blank. The next position (middle)was the original chip program and the next (last) position was stock programming.
Is the 93 program where the blank position on the toggle was?
Do I now have the ability to switch on the fly and if so does that include going to the stock programming on the fly also.
Does the computer have to go through a "learning" process for these new programs.
Thanks for your time.
Steve

>Notch: 93, open loop
>Center: 91
>Bottom: stock

>Yes, the computer often does have to relearn the baseline
>but sometimes when it resets its already good.
Thanks Ken.
It's now hauling the mail.
It does indeed feel as if the computer took a couple of hours to "get the message".
