PCV Valve

2000 EXP, 4.6 L Engine.
Isn't the PCV Valve on the right side of the engine near the oil dipstick. Has a small hose running from it knid of like a sparg plug wire cover?
To replace, do you just undo the hose and pull it out of the cover with some pliars and pop the new one in or is there more to it?

Yep, pretty simple procedure. Pull the old PCV from valve cover, disconnect hose and then reverse process.

You got it. I have never even needed pliers - usually just comes out by hand.

Sometimes the hose and/or the grommet will get hard and brittle making it a little hard to get the sucker out, but keep working at it.

If you damage the hose, you can use an old plug wire elbow in its place, just make sure you inspect if often as those plug wire elbows will eventually absorb oil and swell up.

Good luck.
