Gotta ask? Before I found this site I began mods on my truck. Currently I have a 95 F150 4X4 super cab with auto tranny, Headman Headers, K&N breather system, Flowmaster duals straight out of the H pipe on the headers for the O2 sensor. Then I added a Street & Perfomance chip. I have noticed a great improvment in tanny shifts. But the truck wont turn over the tires without realy getting on it. Current tires or stock 30" I think, and rear gears or 3.73.
Is the street & performance chip not maximizing the engine.
From reading this forum it seems the chips you handle make some real difference, I don't feel mine is doing that. I'm using 92 octane fuel also.
Thanks for the input!!
(ps This might be a duplicate I didn't see it post)
Well, we can almost certainly give you better bang for the buck with a Diablo chip. The Diablo chip is one of the most agreesively tuned, within the limits of the engine and longevity, chips there is. I've run it and Superchips in several vehicles and in most cases Diablo gives more performance.
