Hi everyone I just migrated from the 6.0 forum. I just got a project truck. It is a 72 F250 4x4. I am going to try to bring is back to life. It has a 390 4 speed and everything is manual. Where is the best place to buy body panels, preferable new. I have a LMC truck catalog but some of the panels seem to be expensive.

The 390 was never available with 4 wheel drive. Sheet metal, except front doors is the same from 1967 (67's have unique doors) thru 1972. Be careful buying sheel metal from lmc, some of it is Chinese made and doesn't fit well, from what I've read here from all the b!tching buyers of the crappola. There's a new sponsor on FTE >> MIKES TRUCKS who sells desert southwest sheetmetal (no rust, cuz no snow). Check the list of FTE sponsors, top of page. Click on the refresh button, if you don't see the listing. Mikes Trucks is located in South Carolina, y'all.
I know the engine is not the right one. It is supposedly a 1975. I am going to try and find a donor truck. Will the 2wd body parts all come across without problem?
