Rear cab mounts

Does anyone know which trucks have the rear cab mounts that are riveted to the frame. It would appear that the f250 4x4s have them and others don't. I have a 72 highboy and am looking to to replace the cab, but most I have looked at don't have the cab mounts.

Thanks
Bob

Bob, Could you clean a little more grease off your question? All 65-79 Ford trucks with the exception of 65-66 4X4s share identical mount points.

What are you saying is missing from some of them??

I am looking at cabs as donors for my 72 F250 High boy. Most of the trucks I have looked at do not have cab mounting points that extend outward from the frame. The mounts I am talking about are riveted to the frameand are for the back of the cab.

Sorry for the confusion.

On hiboys the rear cab mounts are outside the frame. All of the cabs had pads stamped into the rear panels but they must be drilled if used on a hiboy frame.Hope this helps.

Get your measuring tape out. I think you will find the spacing for the rear cab mounts to be the same on all of the cabs.

Mounts

You can go to Mikes Truck Salvage. Hes got the mounts to place on your frame. He has a web site you can look at different parts for all years of Ford trucks.

I replaced my F250 4x4 cab with an F100 cab and all I had to do was drill new holes in the floor. Took all an hour.
