I am also looking for a garage opener door for my overhead console. The little latch broke off. Super glue doesn't seem to do the job, will try Gorilla glue next. Anyone else have an idea? I sure as the devil am not paying 100 bucks for a 4X6 piece of plastic.

I was surprised at how easy it was. Less than an hour, and I'm not exactly SuperMechanic!
I don't know exactly what you're looking for with the intake, but it may not be worth the money. The jury's still out on this one for me; if I get a couple more mpg's on towing, I'll be satisfied. I have a sneaking suspicion this isn't going to happen. If you're working in dusty environments, it's probably a good idea. If your environment is not too dusty, the standard Motorcraft filter/stock airbox is probably acceptable if you're running stock. I believe the AIS will give the best protection available for the 7.3L, but the stock filters protect pretty well, too. Just food for thought.

I was mainly interested in getting more air in and going to a bigger muffler, such as the Walker BTM I believe. Just thinking more air in more air out. More MPG's would of course be a hope. I would probably stay with the 3.5 in. pipe.
We should have the complete kit available soon on the site and its very affordable.
You get more airflow, and better filteration
Kit to include:
Filter
Clamp
4" Pipe coupler
Metal Battery tray
Battery blanket

More MPGs, for me, has been just that-a hope. After installing the MBRP 4" turboback with a straight-through muffler, AIS, synthetic tranny fluid, new fuel filter, diesel fuel additives, keeping tires properly inflated, etc, etc, my mileage still STINKS. 13-14 around town, 15 hwy. Oh, I did get over 18 on ONE freeway trip...Happiest day of my diesel life.
has any body done your new way without zoodad seems the snorkel would still need to be shortened
really seems to be a good idea for cold air and no trash, was hinking instead of cotting snorkle off cutting it at angle toward the holes to the side

I am getting 15.5 in town and 11.5 - 12 towing 9K while still bone stock. Maybe I'm not as bad off as I thought.
missouguy, your mileage sounds pretty good while towing. I just got back from a 1300 mile round trip towing 5K. With the AIS and averaging 65 mph on flatlands (I-95, NC to FL), I got 11.5 mpg on one tankful. Got impatient, juiced it up to 70 mph, mileage dropped to 9.7 mpg on subsequent fillups. BTW, I got a new filterminder from Diesel Power Products and it pulled down to the first mark during the first half of the trip, but hasn't moved any more. If I keep my foot out of it, I may yet be satisfied with the AIS purchase.
