Driving 30mph slight downgrade with foot off the throttle and the truck died. It will not crank back at all. Mechanic said he thought it might be the cam-shaft position sensor, but said it would crank back after it cooled down... it did not. Help please
try this down in the 7.3 forum .. will prob get more detailed responses there. Sounds like CPS to me as well. When you turn the key on, and turn the engine over, does the tach move ?
Often it will show code p0341 for intermittent cam signal. If that is there and it's not starting that is about all it can be! Has been 100% of the time for me!
replaced the cps today... nothing. The tach does move when I crank the truck, and oil pressure also comes up. I removed the superchip program..still nothing. checked fuses...nothing. Anybody got anything else?
