We had a 96 F-150 at work and it was a POS. Mainly due the the beaten from previous employees but I was driving it one day and noticed the brakes acting funny..... And well I lost brakes and ended up running off the road and slowed down by the grace of god. Turns out the front right brake pad slid out of its caliper and caused the piston to hit the rotor thus throwing it sideways expelling massive amounts of brake fluid and losing pressure. (
thats
what the repair guy said) Scared the mess out of me for sure.

Since then they have bought two 2006 f150s with a
sixer
one being a
manual
and the other auto. So far they are running good. Note: we avg 36k + miles a year on these trucks.

Edit: dang spell checker
