08 Stabilizer Package; Do I need it???
08 Stabilizer Package; Do I need it??? I will probably be ordering a 2008 F250 R/C 4x4 5.4 6spd this week and was wondering if the stabilizer pkg ( heavier front springs and rear sway bar ) is worth the extra money. I won't be plowing and will very seldomly tow or haul. I like the idea of the rear sway bar but am afraid the heavier front springs will stiffen the ride up too much. Any thoughts or opinions will be appreciated. Thanks. Brian

I would not have a truck without the rear stabilizer bar. I ordered the stabilizer pkg on my 05 just to have the sway bar. Although I have the 6.0L, tools boxes and tools, the ride is not rough at all. IMO the answer to your question is yes.
