strut replacment
recently i went to firestone and had new struts in the front replaced and shock in the rear. they replaced them with monroe reflex. i have not been to impressed with how it rides i took it back to them and asked them to look at it. they said my whole front suspension is tight. they said if i bring them back to them they will give my money back. any recomonations on a different strut and shock. and is this something i can change myself?

well whats weird is i keep hearing this thunking sound when i go over bumps. when the truck is in park and you rock it you can hear the thunking too, and if you hold onto the front shock you can feel the thunk. maybe the idiots just put them on wrong. i dont know.

You shouldn't hear anything. Bring it back and have them find the problem. Something must be loose.
Let us know how you made out. I would expect that you'll be happy with the Reflex's when you get this problem worked out.
