yea, basically there are 2 different heads for the FE's. The old ones (58-66ish), and the new ones(66ish-the end) the old ones had bigger ports, so they flow better, but the combustion chamber is a horrible design, (Exc. for the EDC's). The new ones have smaller ports and don't flow as well, but have a MUCH better combustion chamber. The last of the new ones (the D2TE's), have the induction hardened valve seats, basically only so you can run unleaded feul, and not hurt the motor.
