Need massive air horns.
On our trucks, we have Hadley air horns. It utilized a small size tank(maybe a little bigger than a 32oz gatorade), and then the compressor, and the horns. We have them hooked up through the main horn, so when you hit the horn, it goes. Its funny seeing a ford escape with air horns. Look on ebay for them, i still need to find a compressor, since the one i had burned out. They sound like a big rig.
If i got cut off like that, i would have followed them around for awhile, i know they would have gotten scared, or did the same back at them and gave them a smoke screen.
It's all home made so it's pretty ugly, but it works great and the large air tank has enough capacity to blast those horns for at least 30 seconds non-stop.
I'll upload some pics after this post.

But if you study the picture the hoses supplied with that kit are very skinny and I don't think the hose will carry enough volume to feed 5 horns. I would recommend getting some thicker hose and a bigger tank. That would do the trick.
Anyway the setup that I cobbled together is not nearly as pretty as that system, but IMO it works better because of the size of the tank and pipe feeding the solenoid.
In the front box I mounted the original tank with the pressure gauge and the cut-off switch for the compressor. See where I tee'd into the system behind the solenoid to feed the big tank, which is mounted in the rear cargo box.

And here is the converted tank. I hooked it up to my BBQ and ran it competely out, then removed the valve and filled the tank with water to clear out any remaining gas.
Then I washed it out with solvent, detergent and water, etc to completly remove all that stink oil residue left over. Then I painted the inside with POR-15 to protect it from rusting out. Let it sit for two weeks to completely dry out.
Then I put this fitting on and installed the rest of the system.

Like I said, it's all really ugly, but I was in a hurry to get it done. Too many other projects to get done right now and my horns were not working.

And here are some threads that should help... this has always been a popular topic in the Super Duty section. Still would like to get some on my truck some day.

More good stuff if you search on +air +horns or +train +horns in the SD section, searching for threads and not posts.

I think if/when I do some, I'd like either a train horn sound, or that stutter tone that fire engines have.

I have the camper shell so I have plenty of space there back in the box.
My plan is to be able to use this also for the tires whenever needed, just having long enough hose to walk around.
I'm thinking some of those $50 air horns that could fit under the hood in the front. I need them just occasionally (Ok, everyday) but I don't want to get sued (with train horns
) of killing some older people with bad heart
NO SKINNY HOSES! You will get 20 feet of huge 3/8" black large diameter high flowing hose and brass fittings for both ends. This hose can be cut to length and then attached to both the horn and the compressor. Fittings are included. The fittings can be undone and then reattached.
FREE 1/2in MONSTER VALVE UPGRADE
Killer systems need killer valves for high flow. This package include one of our CE approved super-high flowing 1/2 inch air valves. It gives a quick, sharp, instant release - even at 200psi. We promise no wimpy "croaking noises". No special wiring either.
I am thinking of ways to tap into the factory horn, i want to put it on a switch where i can hit the horn on the wheel and do a regulaor beeeep or flip an inconspicuous switch and have them both fire off together but you only hear the air horns of course. Maybe radioshack for a few little things such as switches and wiring etc. I also want an easy-to-flip switch where i can switch off power to the compressor so it will only run when it needs to, WHEN i want it to. Few little easy things i can do here and there. I plan to mount it in my toolbox similar to the way i have it done on the 07 dually.
My girlfriend was sitting here on my lap (at my buddies house) when i was buying them, she says she cant wait to hear them, im corrupting her into a true hardcore diesel truck, black smoke lovin' girl.
Congrats on the horns - I was going to suggest Grover StutterTones (aka Fire Truck horns) I have a set on my work truck, and they can be heard for about 3/4 of a mile.
P.S. You should hear them in the harbor tunnel LOLOL
