Power-Lite Window (cr laurence)

I just aquired a cr laurance Power-Lite Slider for my 78 F-250. This Slider is not the side to side unit. This one is the UP/DOWN Version. I need to find another one for parts. More than anything I need a new plastic gear for the track. The one in my slider is missing teeth. Any one Remember these?? or know about one ,or where I may get parts?????

This slider is the same for f-series from 73-96.

dennis, I emailed tech services before I posted this. And they told me they stopped manufacturing this style window in 92-93. I did get a couple part #'s after a call to CR laurence. It turns out they have very few carry over parts that are used on both the power-lite model and their current model. I ordered what I beleive is one of the parts I need. Freight was more than the part... lol...

I think I can make the other pieces I need at work. The only other issue is reattatching the hardware to the glass. It was glued onto the window, and when I got the window it was falling off. I should be able to go to a local glass co and get some adhesive.

Things seem to be coming together, I will post pics when I get it all back together...

Yes, Buy or ask them for a partial tube of black Urethane...this is what they use.
Sometimes they have an almost empty tube laying around.

I have a tube here....... but you aren't

I seem to remember that a rear up/down power window was a Ford dealer installed accessory in the late 1970's...is that right, Dennis?

Still have it. Infact now i have two of them. I Never got around to fixing them, but i dont know that i want to sell them either.

Its one of those parts that its good to have a spare off. I still have another truck in storage that i was planning on doing up with this window and a bunch of other rare factory options that i have aquired over the years. Someday......

Interesting, i have never heard of anything like these windows youre mentioning, the idea had occurred to me, but i was just planning on cannibalizing a bronco rear window. If its any help, im fairly sure that the back windows are the same from 73-97

The two windows are burried in the back of my basement behind piles of car parts. TRX mustang rims, 53-56 F100 rear fenders, spare rear axles from mustangs, totes and totes of misc 73-79 stuff, and so so much more stuff.

Im supposed to be selling the TRX rims soon, so if i get close enough to the slider i will snap some pictures.

The sliders are super tough to find, ive just missed, literally minutes, one a few years ago at a local swap meet. Hell i almost bought an 86 supercab ranger just for the power drop down slider, but again, i just missed that deal too.
