I wouldn't worry too much about this incident.
I'm thinking it's a fluke of some kind.
KennedyFord ran his for 100,000 miles before changing.

I made my way to the next pickle park to have a looksee. Low and behold about 1/4 of my air filter had been sucked through.

My question's are... Where did it go (how far through the intake, probably the intercooler)? What damage could this have done?
My biggest fear would be a chunk of paper making a hot spot on the top of a piston. Do you have the stock intakes with the screens in place? You could pull the intake boots and look for any evidence of the filter there, but it if it went through the turbo with no damage I would imagine any pieces you find would be pretty small....and hopefully not a major issue.

Maybe pull the Spearco and flush it with water, just to see if anything is in there.

I was wondering if you had a spearco. You could send it to me, i have an aluminum scrap pile being accumulated... (yeah right). Yes i was going to say, just backflush it with water or a huge volume of air such as a backpack leaf blower... I am definitely thinking you got a fluke filter, there are guys running alot more CFM through those filters than what you were when it got sucked in.
