help ?!?

i dont know what is the problem with my truck after driving for about an hour on my daily commute to work when barely pushing down on the throttle the truck sputters and coughs and chugs. i dont know what the problem is i ran my code reader and no dtc's came up or anything. please help!!

Sound like your Camshaft Sensor going out. Mine was intermittent, and did what you discribed before it went bad.

just to be clear, did you look at your fuel filter?,
and yes the CPS would do that and not give you a code, but if you have generic code reader its 100% not capable to read all the PSD codes and channels,unless you are using AE or very good SnapOn , you wont find anything,
do you have any mods on the truck?

yes i have an SCT SF flash tuner i also have 5inch straight pipe afe intake gauges

take you tuner out and see if you have any diference ,

well so your next option is to go and get CPS , and replace it,
and another thing get somone with professional reader so you can check all powerstroke related codes to make sure

Tryan,
Did you check your fuel filter?
The new Ford CPS part #F7TZ12KO73B. they are 25.00ish from the dealer. Don't get a cps from your local parts store.

Does it occur at the same pedal position every time or is it whenever you push the pedal slightly from any pedal position
