Yeah.. I got a ticket today... Supposedly I was doing 70 in 45 but I don't know.. Wasn't watching my gauge.. He never tag'd me with radar, he said he paced me.. Sigh.. $300 ticket right there.. Made my day turn to crap!
Yeah it runs real good.. I think I'm going to challenge it from what some folks told me.. Its just really odd to say you paced me doing 70.. But who knows.. Maybe I was.. I don't recall feeling like I was going that fast..
pacing so like bolonga think i'd have to arue that in court .. i got one i have to go on the 14th for 71 in a 45 when ask to see radar he said no wait for the ticket in your car seeing how he was parked on the shoulder in the dark and we had a big rig between us wonder how he got me??lol gotta love them coper's..lol
Consider yourself lucky. In Washington State if you get tagged for 15 or more over the posted limit it comes with an automatic reckless driving charge.

Don't have a tickets on my record, but I have heard through the grapevine there is a way to keep the ticket off of your record. Overpay the ticket- your county clerk will send you a refund check. Take that refund check and either toss it,destroy, frame it whatever-your case will remain "open" until that check is cashed and points will not be placed on your record. Seems like it would work, but I am not sure. When I get a ticket (hopefully never) I think I wil try it- Good Luck!
Best bet is to see if you can go to traffic school or ask for court supervision. I have also had friends say that they have had good luck calling and talking to the local DA, or ADA and offering to pay the fine to have the charges dropped.
Here in Peoria IL if you pay $100 to the county (for a $75 ticket) and take a 5 hour course they will drop the charges. You are allowed to take the course once within a 12 month period. Sadly enough I have taken it 4 times now.
We are trying everything.. My mum's friend who's a supervisor for GtPD was called.. Shes waiting to hear from him so hopefully he can destroy the ticket before it makes it to the court house..
Either way if he cant, I'm taking it to court.. The more I sit and wonder.. It was raining outside.. There's no way in hell I would do 70 in a 45 on wet pavement.. Not in this truck
It seems to me that I had a ticket back in Waco....I got out of it by attending one of those sponsored driver awareness classes like AARP does. I still have to do those courses on a periodic basis to drive Red Cross vehicles.
