buy a couple hose clamps, the screw tighten style ones, unscrew them, stick them on the arm and re-screw and tighten them up, paint them black first if you want so they don't get noticed, cheap easy fix and they are still adjustable that way

Do you have the Large Tow mirrors of the small mirrors? I removed a set of the smaller mirrors from my truck and upgrade to the Tow Mirrors. Although it sounds like you have the Tow/Mirrors, if the smaller stlye is what you need you are welcome to my old ones.. Take Care.!.Country

Country,

If you're referring to the small ones, the ones I call "Elephant Ears" (NOT the tow mirrors), I could use at least the passenger-side one. If you have no other takers, and since I'm right over the hill from you, I'd be happy to pick it up!

Lemmee know...

So many names.. AFAIK, the little ones are called the "paddle" mirrors.

If your tow mirrors are not staying fully extended, the clamp idea is the quickest, cheapest, easiest solution!

If your mirror (be it paddle or tow) is not staying in place (front/back motion), you are going to have to buy a new one or jerry-rig something different up.

If you do decide to buy new tow mirrors, my advice is stay away from the cheap E-Bay aftermarket "Chinese" mirrors. I went that path and wish I hadn't. The glass of the mirror vibrates so bad when driving I had to put little bits of rubber between the frame and glass just to use them.

I've got the original tow mirrors from my truck that I'll let go cheap/trade for/figure it out - they don't telescope, have heat or turn signals, but ARE power adjustable and stay in place while driving (up to 100mph anyway.. i didn't "test" further!) - PM me if interested - i'll be getting pics together soon for the Classified section

Cow Catcher

Its a (Ranch Hand) Brand Cow Catcher. They are out of Texas but have spread out thru the western states as well. I got mine out here in Ca. There's a guy out here in Baeumont Ca that buys truck in Texas to resell out here in Ca. Well Californians don't like the Ranch Hand Equipment so he strips'm and puts on the original bumpers in order to resell them here. Well he has a pile of them in his back lot and every now and then I drop by and grab one from him. I give him 100.00 bucks for them. The one thats is on my truck is not how they come from the R/H Factory. I made/ welded the cut-outs for the Piaa lights, I also added the shackles and restructured the mounting brackets. It's mounted with 5-grade 8 bolts at each end. So ten bolts hold it to the frame. They run about $700.00 brand new and they are also powder coated. Mine is painted for easier repairs. Glad you like it and Thanks!! Well Take Care Country
