Could I tow an old Bronco behind my 95 Windstar (3.8, auto)? Most of the older vehicles around north central Pennsylvania are pretty rusty underneath, and I was thinking about heading west or south to pick up a project this summer (I'm probably selling my 79).
Does anyone know how bad the rust is in West Virginia or the Carolinas? My part of Pennsylvania throws salt down from November to March and it's hard to find anything nice that doesn't cost a bucket of money. My brother claims there are some decent rigs with little rust in the Denver area, but that seems like a long way to tow anything.
Any ideas on towing or how far away I have to go to escape the rust would be appreciated.
don't think i would try it with a windstar. need at least a f150 and a tandom axel trailor. if i tow mine with my 150 4.2 it does it but not very well so i get out the powerstroke. could not imagine trying it with a windstar.
