I would like to punch the engineer at ford who decided how the front fenders and grill where put together. I have spent a lot of time tearing down the front sheet metal without a whole lot of progress.

Found by removing the entire assembly as a unit it's much easier to disassemble once removed. Remove bumper, remove the bolts from the center support bracket; there is an opening at backside along the top of radiator support, using a socket you can remove the top bolts securing the center support, found using 1/4" socket set with small extention little easier, but 1/2" will work. Then remove bolts securing upper valance at the top of radiator support and fender, and bolts along permiter where the grille is secured to the fender and the entire assembly should come out. With any luck none of the speed, or cage nuts are rusted and spin on you. Once removed, any speed nuts that are rusted are easier to remove. From that point, suggest remove fenders and inner fenders (sheet metal) together. Obviously, the hood should have already been removed, make sure to mark hinge bolt location. Suggest take note of any hardware that needs to be replaced.
