i dont think most people around here would recomend banks...most would say DP Tuners, and exhaust you can get cheap on ebay, you might search thoughs on this form and see what you can find out.
also might concider intake
gauges would be highly recomended if you plan on realy using your tunes
a small but i understand welcome add is a crossover tube (HPX line from ITP Diesel)
i am sure other may add more

just wondering when did your injestors go out i always fear mine will with 169k on the clicker

Whatever you want to 99 www.7point3.com click on common mods and maintenance for a database of thread from here on mods and maintenance. Banks is good equipment but its pricey compared to what you get. Tell us what all you are wanting to do and you will get some good non overpriced suggestions.

so i tried doing the EBP sensor cleaning ... took it apart and had all sorts of gunk/carbon build up in it and found a hole in the metal line had to make another trip to autozone and had a friend help me make a line ...we will see what i get to doing next the ccv mod sounds interesting ... had to clean out the gunk from the intake so might be a good idea to look into that mod

I'm at the same point you are. 99 w/ 200,000.

Over the weekend I put a new EBP sensor and tube, mine wasn't at all bad looking but I had the new parts so I put them on.

Also over the weekend:

New gear oil and friction modifier
New trans and transfer case ATF
New power steering ATF
New brake fluid

Next on the list is new gear oil for the front once I acquire new axle and bearing seals.

Then on to front suspension parts replacement to get rid of the play in the steering.

Do the CCV mod for sure unless you live in a really cold area like MN or ND.

If you're changing the ATF in your six speed, get plenty of Mobil 1 Syn ATF and do the trans, xfer case if it's a 4x4, and steering at the same time. The trans will take about 6, the xfer case about 3, and 3 will get you through the power steering.

Are you going with the big old relay or the stocker?

Well since i do live in Florida i went ahead and did the ccv mod today got my hose ran and all and i had the smart idea to throw on a small filter so that the big particals would not get up in the hose... when i turned the truck on it left the filter pretty black and dirty...
As for the relay im gonna go with the larger one...
Another question i have is if i were to remove my converter off of the exhaust will i be losing any low in torque or any torque period ... if its loud im not so worried just wanting to know before i have someone do my exhaust up...Any recomdations on what brand of exhaust/muffler to go with i dont need the whole kit just the muffler part...
Oh and as for the tunner i think ima go with Edges New Evolution ...and we will see how that does...

does the ccv mod smoke very much on your truck? i am thinking f doing this mod as well, but my brother in law did it and he said that his smokes continuously and he ran his to the rear of his truck. i guess a filter on the end would help with the smoke factor, but i just wanted to know if yours smoked a lot.

Mine smokes enough to make me glad it's out by back of the truck. Not sure what kind of "filter" 99 used, but there's one in the dog house already. I did have to replace the O-rings under there -- the originals were deformed and one broke when took it apart. I just ran my hose up over the brake booster to keep the oil from running out and so far, I've not seen any oil out the back of my hose.

well i used one of those cheap-o filters that u can find in the ile that has those aftermarket intakes for cars or truck i got mine from discount autoparts, but Autozone sells them aswell they cost about 8 bucks if im not mistaken... well as for smoke it kinda does i dumped mine off towards the rear axle...

As for the o-rings on my dog house they were Bad real bad had to replace those too...no wonder some oil leaked a bit from there.

i did mine on my wifes over the weekend. it does smoke!! also, i did not turn my doghouse around, i just ran it straight off of the current location. i'm a little skeptical of the bit about the crankcase pressurizing and such. if it vents now closed, it will vent now open (from the current location). maybe i am totally missing something, but i did not see any reason, other than potential small oil drainout, to turn it around. Please correct me if i am wrong. thanks!!
