AMP Research Power Step need help
My installer can't figure out why my steps keep dropping down after the truck is shut off and doors are shut. 10 seconds later the steps come down on their own. Anybody have this problem or heard of this?

It's possible he tapped into the wrong wires under the scuff plate (or wherever he tapped the trigger wires on each side), he has the diodes connected the wrong way (pay close attention to which way the band on the diode is facing), or you have a bad control box.

I spoke with Tech Support @ AMP and they were very helpful. The wiring diagram in 07 changed from 05-06 and because my steps were for an 05 it requires additional diaodes and some trial and error to get it right. Should be fixed up shortly. Thanks.

As far as I know the wiring did not change in the 07 (matter of fact harldy anything changed between the 06 and 07). They are probably thinking of the 08 which did have major changes to the wiring. A lot of aftermarket companies get the 08 and 07 confused because the 08 came out so early.
