Whats everyone doing this weekend? I'm going to Shreveport La. I plan to fish on my pond while I'm there. It will not be crowded like tha lakes will be. Its so far out in the sticks I doubt a car will go by while I'm fishing. Ya'll be safe this weekend & remember to honor our servicemen Monday.
I wish I could do something, my mare decided to injure herself where today we have to go get her x-rayed and then I have to spend atleast the rest of the weekend babying her thru this crisis and more then likely longer. Mares! Just have to be obstinate can never pick the appropriate time. Otherwise I would have taking her to a Mounted Shooting show over in Cookeville.
I'm mostly going to hang around the house. I just had hernia surgery last Tuesday. Sunday we are going up to Sharps Chapel to visit a bunch of cousins. They have decoration at the family cemetary then also.
Larry
I'm going to wait for my pay to post, go get another front rotor, TWO SEALS, FOUR BEARINGS (they were not with the new rotor I bought for the curb side) and get G1 straight.
I'm going to go after my garage, and re-bond with the puppy I'm keeping. I'm going to finish ripping down about three engines and look at a fourth.
- And I'm going to get very, very drunk!
Today sucked. I missed a quarter of a day looking for a set of motor home keys because I thought I might have had them in a shirt pocket - so I put in a 200 mile day on I-240 (The KAMIKAZI RALLY) and had my debit card declined at a gas station.
No keys anywhere in the laundry - they were found exactly in the middle under the coach which was supposedly being picked up today that I went on to troubleshoot electrically and found a dead charge side of the main converter on, after almost getting stuck in a RAT TRAP that was behind where the converter was mounted...
There is no way those keys could have got there except as a prank, and my time card was super-glued down when my shop boss tried to pick it up this morning. (He is now upset too - and said whoever did it would not be there long)
My rear brakes are fine, I have a spare set of shoes for it now anyway, and I need to do both sides of the front brakes because shoddy crap was used by a shade tree artist before me and I want better steel in front so that heat-breakdown will be the last of my worries...
I HAVE BECOME ANNOYED!
-Officially-
On top of everything else, the man I spoke to at the new job prospect, called a buddy who works down where I do in Mississippi, so before I got back it was common knowlege that I was looking for a new employer before I had a chance to talk about it with the big boss...
Fortunately, Schlitz is dirt cheap at the NAVY Exchange!
So; How the heck was your day? And I hope you have a great weekend...

Had a Kroger grand opening near by, got some pork spare ribs, $1.99 a pound, Home Depot had real hardwood charcole for $299 a 20 pound bag, I picked up some mesquite chunks for smoking, hickory is sold out. I used up the last of my hickory smoking a pork roast, definately satisfied with it. Memorial Day will be at my sister in laws, I'm going to get up early and get on the grill to smoke and BBQ the ribs, with a beer can chicken.
my wife and i just got back from a week in key west, we start college on tuesday and so this weekend we are going to sit back and do nothing, just clean the xterra up after the trip and go to the car lots and droll more over some ford trucks that are there.
Landscaping, honey-do, watch the race, drink beer, cookout on the grill. That should do it for now! Remember to take a moment to think about all those protecting our freedom, especially those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Reason: misspelled word
Saturday is plumb gone. I sponged up a lot of extra sleep, got together with my pups, fended off a request to haul some junk for a neighbor, and was generally a potato today (note: The only way "POTATO" is spelled with an "E" is "TATER")
On the Raleigh Millington road though - there is a place advertising "TOMATOE" plants, just before you get to the Fite road stoplight by the Motor Sports Park.
- Cracks me up every time I see it!
SOUNDS LIKE THEY WERE GROWN IN FACTORY OUTFLOW WATER! I wonder how many toes they've got?
