If anyone was going to check out something at SGI in Saskatoon before May 30th I was wondering if you could have a look while you where their at a Polaris snowmobile that is up for bid. The wife blew hers up this winter and we are looking for a replacement. It says damage in the front but we can't see anything in the picture. All we really need is the motor but if the whole sled is good that would just be a bonus. No need for anyone to go out of their way, just asking in case someone was going that way.
Yes that is the one. The wife has/had an Indy trail with 10,000 miles on it before the crank broke. The sled itself is still in good shape, just need a motor for it.
lol...love those old fan cooled engines! we got an old supersport 488/fan. 9000miles on it and nothing wrong(touch wood) first problems were the boogie wheels last year...
Just the damage to the front end and just general overall condition (skis pointing in the same direction, stuff like that), also if the motor turns over or if it has run since they brought it in.
It sure does, that is what got me interested in it in the first place. we both enjoy sleding but for as much as we do the low budget route is the way for us. The wife works shift and she only gets weekends about every 8 - 9 weeks so w don't get very many chances to go out and then we have to find a babysitter.
