Airbag Light "Code 47"

Can anyone tell me what this code is? I have a 2003 SD250. Is there a place where I can find all of the different Codes without having to go to Ford and Paying $100.

You might not have to pay Ford anything. This is from the 2003 Warranty Guide:

Safety Restraint Coverage
Under your New Vehicle Limited Warranty, Safety Restraint Coverage begins at the warranty start date and lasts for five years or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

During this coverage period, Ford Motor Company or Ford Motor Vehicle Assurance Company warrants your vehicle’s safety belts and air bag Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) against defects in factory-supplied materials or workmanship.

Thanks for the Info I'll check with the Dealer in the morning...I thought that the way it was with the Emission Equipment too, 5 year/100K when an O2 Sensor malfuctioned. Some of the Emisions is covered, but not the O2 Sensors. It cost me $80 for the testing and they (Ford) said they would replace the Sensors for $245..Needless to say I replaced them myself for around $80.

Thanks Again for your Help

I want to have a little chat with whoever came up with the 10k mile a year estimate (for warranty and for leasing)....I don't know ANYONE that drives that little. More like 20k is normal.

I've had my truck for 5 months now and I've only put on 3000 miles. I think there are plenty of people that drive 10k or less a year, they just don't live in the suburbs.
