Thanks for the update. I hadn't even upgraded to 5.0 yet. Looks like I'll be going straight to the newest version.

 

I have not upgraded either yet. I think ill wait it out, until the next one.

 

Well, after some stumbling, I got my 5.0 working and while I have the 5.11 downloaded I've not yet installed. Is that an update or a whole new install. I still don't feel all that fuzzy on the answer I got last time I asked. I still have soo much to check/play with. Alan????

I hate it. I haven't even scratched the surface yet. Stupid POS. I have resigned myself to realizing that I need to gather a bunch of info from the shop manual so that the values I see while datalogging actually mean something.

Seriously, there's way more there than I had time to play with last weekend and the wife had other ideas about what was going to happen. Because the thing is so cool I am going to try to assemble some how to tests complete with expected values etc. Sorta what Alan has begun on 7point3. And don't think I won't use what's there.

So I love to hate it. As with all the other irons I have in the fire, this one will proceed in a glacial manner as well. I can't wait until I retire again so I can fart around and not have to work.

 

No need to uninstall 5.0 to do the update just run it and it will overright the 5.0 and it will keep your activations.
