I have a 78 Bronco that recently started having problems with the wipers would stop working at times. If i turn em off then back on, they would work momentarily, but eventually stop working again. Is the motor bad, or the switch gone flakey?
wish i could send u the wiring diagram! maybe the wiper circuit breaker is tripping off? It is #2 on the early Broncos. See if you can hook up a meter to it or 12vdc light to see if it opens while you run the wipers...
or if that is ok.......the ws wiper motor "governor" may be the prob.. it is under the dash. remove the electric rear window switch for better access to the governor. It connects to the motor. I don't have the diagram for what the gov does. Good luck, and maybe someone else can help. Al
