Good luck
I have a 96 Bronco XL that I bought new. I get from 14 to 16 MPG. But I live in a rural area with access to freeways to go to work or shopping. It has the 5.0 and auto .. air..and I installed Power windows, locks, etc, so the weight overall should be similar to an XLT or Eddie Bauer
The price looks good for the mileage..you can check it at edmunds...http://www.edmund.com/
or the Kelley Blue Book
Check the auto transmission!!!!.....some have bad converters or gears..so get it warmed up and test drive it..esp in reverse...
my auto hubs blew out at 40K miles. so get it in 4x4 and be sure the hubs are ok.
everything else in it is a OK so far.
here is the info from edmunds:
for a 96 XLT with your mileage:

PLUS:8 cyl 5.8 L Engine + $425 Auto 4-Speed Transmission + $395

but the xlt and Eddie Bauer come std w/some of those options
There is no adjustment if current vehicle mileage falls in the range
55,800 to 59,800 miles.
Add 8.0 cents for every mile below 55,800 mi.
Deduct 8.0 cents for every mile above 59,800 mi.
good luck and keep in touch here..there are other Bronco bulletin boards too in case you need help
