Brake Line Question

I decited to on replacing the brake lines on my 97 150 / 5.4 SC due to one blown line and excessive rust on rest of them. Using multiple NAPA polymer coated lines and coupler fittings.

Question, are all of the bends present on OE lines from MC to ABS Control and from ABS Control to wheels cylinders really necessary or can I eliminate most of all of them leaving sufficent room for flexing?

you can eliminate the bends. leave a couple 90 degrees, one or two each end so the line can flex or stretch with heat, etc. reuse the rubber/plastic clamps and make sure it dont rub on the truck frame and wear thru.
