I wouldnt buy toyos or bfg's. I got Falken Rocky Mountains from discount tire and love them. They are a off road tire plus they are Load range E!! They were 121 a piece with a 50 dollar rebate. They hook hard in the snow and mud. Check them out!

They are a 60,000 mile tire. The ones I have wear like iron. Funny thing is the tread suface still has nubs on them. The only thing Ive done different is air them down to 60 psi. They call for 80 psi but ride a little nicer at 60. They still stand straight up. If I haul anything heavy I'll air them back to 80.

I am also looking for new tires, I cant find the tires you have "Falken Rocky Mountains". When did you get them? Also what size you have? I was looking for 35x1250x17.
Thanks ~Gage~
They are the same as Falken wild peak at. Discount tire sells them, I have been looking at them too. 285/70/17 - 33" is $185 plus a $40 rebate. They are only a D rating in that size but have a load capacity to a E in a 265/70/17. I also here they have a 3 ply sidewall like a bfg at KO.
Ya they dont have the size I need. Nitto Trail Grappler M/T has the 35x1250x17 with E rating and they are also 3-ply sidewall.
Dont know what to get.

I too am looking to replace my 275/70/18 Contricrap tires. My primary concern is plowing. My initial research has me documeting these so far. Mind you, I had Mickey Thompson Bajha ATZ in 305s. Noisy and $$$
Falken Wildpeak AT
Yokohama Geolander I/T GO72
Hankook RW11 I-pile
Toyo Open country
General Grabber AT2
Notto Tera Grappler
Cooper M$S
Whichever offers the best value I would imagine Fleetfarm and Coopers.

I have had a couple sets of bfg's and LOVED them...Last set I bought had 40000 miles on them and they had 20000 to go. I think they are real quiet and with a 3ply sidewall they are awesome to wheel with.
I would put another set on my f250 but I can't swing the extra $90 over the falkens. Time will tell if I should have spent the extra.
I have no experience with the toyo's but have herd great things about them!
