tach hook up
i want to put a tach in my 96 f150. I would rather just get another guage cluster with a tach built in so it would as clean as possible but i understand that that would be harder. Would it be worth the effort? what exactly is involved?

I am not sure about a 96, but you are getting up there in years were the speedo and the odometer may be electronic, and may need programming to change out. To make sure, call the dealer or maybe someone on here will know for sure.

if i cannot find an OEM tach, is it possible to just put in a standard tach from say Rebies or Kregan?
