Should I replace em'. I've got some lifters tickin so they eed set and am changing out to the edelbrock efi intake so I figure why not. They're orig as far as I know which means theyve got over 197K on em. 21lb injectors right?
Dude if you can afford it, do it. Hell, your already there and I know it'd be my luck to have injectors crap out a week after the manifold install. I look at it like insurance. Plus it may make your truck just that much better. Better gas mileage, maybe? Hell yeah, go for it and let us all know how it turns out!
Whenever you can change something that you are already taking out, and is as old as our vehicles, by all means change it! Especially if you have the money burnin a hole in your pocket. Hell you could go a little bigger and get some power.
Well that's what I got from summit was Accel 21lb. That's what they showed as stock so I'm gonna need to take this thing in to get programmed aren't I? I just got back from a trip around the block. Runs good except for a timing issue I'm having, no advance with spout in, base is good with spout out. I think the PCM might have died. Still have a prob with the header ball flange sealing, getting tired of it but I'll get to it later.

Reason: addition
Kem is right, if your truck is running with all of that, 21lb won't make any difference. FYI, there is a formula somewhere that you can calculate the max (potential) horsepower out of a given set of injectors. I think the 21lb's are capable of around 375 max hp......
My truck has similar mods, and, I can't believe I am saying this.....but I am going to the dark side as we speak.....full mass air conversion. I plan to post an update thread on my conversion....in the true sense of the word! (Go ahead Kem, I can take it)
really?! Where can I find this formula. I have called a few different places to find out what set of injectors to get. It's slightly annoying. I know it has to be a drastic change but I don't know what.
19lb injectors will handle 350hp which is more then 100hp more then what a stock 302 or 5.8 produce so i doubt with the said mods that you would really max the injectors out just yet

Since we are talking about the same thing, I think I will hijack this thread instead of starting a new one.
I have a recently rebuilt 351W in my bronco. It's been balanced and it is running a 35-255-5 Comp cam in it. It is also breathing out through a set of Dynomax BlackJacks (no mufflers yet, probably going to run cherry bombs or some other straight through small diameter (outside) muffler). All the pulleys and brackets are chrome so everyone has high hopes for big power.
I haven't been able to find any place local to test these old injectors so I figured I would get a new set. The snag is that I don't know ***** about fuel injection or injectors. I am foolishly running speed density (I don't know what the hell I was thinking, let's just leave it there ok?) and I was thinking that if I ran a larger injector and bumped the fuel pressure up a little, I might be able to get a few more ponies out of it.
And finally, getting to the point,
What size injector would you all recommend, and does increasing fuel pressure have any good effects?
