New Grill

I'm am looking to put an aftermarket billet grill on my '99 (honeycomb style). I don't want the logo/old grill to show.

1. Do the boltovers accomplish this or should I go full replacement?

2. How hard is a replacement to install (i.e. do I need to remove headlights, etc)?

3. I have fogs on the lower valance. There are like 3 plastic braces (?) where a lower grill would go. Is this possible and how does it install (i.e. over the braces, cut the braces off, etc)?

Thanks to whomever takes the time to respond

Additionally, if anyone has pics or has a billet they like/know where to get, feel free to post. Thanks!

Don't know about the boltovers or the lower valance but a full replacement is easy to install. The brackets for mine are screwed into the header panel. You have to pull the whole grill assembly, pop the factory grill out, put everything back in place, mark where the holes need to be, pull everything back off, drill the holes and then put it back together. Sounds like alot, but its not and IMHO it looks alot better than a boltover.
I have seen grills in the lower valance of several trucks so I know that it is possible, just don't know the how to.

thanks, i figured that was true. also, i'd assume that it wouldn't "weather" bad, much like an exhaust...

anyone know about the lower grill yet? i may just order both, but if i can save $25-40, what the hey. i just need confirmation that with the factory valance w/ fogs that somehow a grill would fit with those darned "braces" in there... may just be the guinea pig and try it

EDIT: just checked around on e-bay and finally found a lower that'll fit my truck! wahoo! thanks for help guys
